PhD Admission 2024

Usha Martin University (UMU), Ranchi (Jharkhand), invites applications from meritorious and innovative candidates from across India for admissions to its Ph.D. programmes in all UG/PG Courses [ Full-Time and Part-Time ]. These programmes will be conducted strictly in accordance with the provisions and regulations given in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degrees Regulation, 2016) and Ph.D. Degree Regulations of Usha Martin University.

Eligibility:

• Masters Degree from any Recognized University or Equivalent Institution in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
• For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/ Differently-Abled and such other categories, relaxation as per the decision of the UGC & Govt. of India will be accorded.
• Candidates who have already passed UGC (JRF) Examinations/ NET/ SET/ SLET or have M. Phil degree can directly appear for interview.
