B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission 2024 - Usha Martin University

The new campus of Usha Martin University (UMU) is situated in close vicinity of Tatisilwai on the Ranchi-Purulia road. This University has emerged as the fastest progressing private university of East India. UMU is duly recognized by UGC and is a member of AIU. The University was established in 2012 as a state private university by the State Legislature of Jharkhand to provide high-quality and employment-oriented education in various technical and non-technical disciplines at all levels with reasonable fees. B. Tech Lateral Entry Admission in Mining, Mechanical, and Computer Engineering

The B. Tech lateral entry programme of Usha Martin University is an innovative initiative. The lateral-entry programmes are available for diploma holders in mining, mechanical and computer science. Such students are admitted in the second year of the 4-year B. Tech programmes with certain eligibility conditions. The facility of entry in B. Tech(LE) can also be available by those having Intermediate / Diploma / B.Sc degree with physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM), with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The applications for lateral entry admissions to the B. Tech courses in these engineering disciplines are invited for the session 2024-25.
