Faculty of Law - BBA LLB Programmes

The law profession has always been accorded high esteem due to its unique role and responsibilities towards the society. Recognizing this, UMU has established the Faculty of Law to impart legal education relevant to the needs of the emerging world order. The faculty will use technology supported interactive pedagogy to equip its graduates with legal skills and scholarship with particular focus on practical aspects of law.

Law programmes at UMU provide the aspirants with an opportunity to furnish themselves with the knowledge of our legal system established within the constitutional framework and its working. The programmes not only enhance their skills on the aspects of governance and policies but also well equips them with various managerial aspects. It aims at imparting legal education as well as various aspects related to management. It benefits the students by making them understand how central and state governments function and how legislations are enacted and enforced along with its working. It enhances the legal as well as advocacy skills of the professional taking the course.Through a pedagogy encompassing regular internships, case studies, practical exposure, moot court practicums and exposure to emerging legal issues, the programmes impart a highly professional outlook and both conceptual and practical exposure to its learners.
