Faculty of Health Sciences - D.Pharma/B.Pharma Course

Pharmacy and Para Medical Science are one of the fastest emerging and dynamic fields for bright and satisfying career prospects. The newly established faculty of Health Sciences of Usha Martin University (UMU) is well-resourced with research credentials and field experience to offer programmes in both Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.Students in this field will have to work with health care specialists and medicine manufactures in order to cater to the needs of the society.

Bachelor of Pharmacy/Diploma in Pharmacy Admission Open 2024

Both the Diploma and BSc programmes in Pharmacy are duly approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and aim at preparing learners for careers in the highly dynamic and rapidly growing field of Pharmacy.

Pharmacy is a versatile, dynamic, growing, and increasingly diverse profession which from its traditional form has transformed into a hub for "Global Healthcare" and evolved as a multidisciplinary and multifaceted field in recent times Pharmacists today are health care professionals whose professional responsibilities require them to keep abreast of developments and advances in knowledge & technology related to manufacture & use of medicines, professional standard requirements, laws governing pharmacy, etc. . The Pharmacy programmes at UMU equip its learners with these capabilities to meet the expectations of the sector and their consumers.

After successful completion of these pharmacy courses, the students are fully eligible and competent for finding job openings in companies, industries, and institutions which are engaged in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare fields, particularly at the entry to assistant level positions. Training and guidance are also offered by this faculty for professional and career development.
